Spectronik and our Authorized Distributor - PT PLN Suku Cadang, have successfully commissioned a 3-Ton fully electric Hydrogen fuel cell forklift to PT PLN (Persero) – Indonesia’s national electric company.

Distinguished guests that witnessed the demonstration on 29-30 September 2024 include:

• Prof. Dr. Eng, Eniya Listiani Dewi - Direktur Jenderal Energy Baru, Terbarukan, Dan Konversi Energi (EBTKE) [Director General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conversion];
• Rizal Calvary – Staff Ahli Menteri ESDM [Expert Staff of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources] of Indonesia;
• Hartanto Wibowo – Direktur Perencanaan Korporat dan Pengembangan Bisnis [Director of Corporate Planning and Business Development] of PT PLN (Persero);
• And many other industrial partners;

Hydrogen fuel cell forklift has the potential to increase work productivity in industrial factories and warehouses due to its longer runtime (3X) and fast refueling (5min) compared to Lithium battery forklift. By utilizing green Hydrogen, both Scope 1 and 2 emissions can be abated, leading to full decarbonization.

The forklift joins 2 other vehicles (compact EV and moped) at HRS Senayan that are also powered by Spectronik’s fuel cells. By Mid-October 2024, Spectronik’s Cruiser industrial utility vehicle is expected to join the line-up.
