advancing Urban Mobility and Mobile Robot projects in Europe

Last week, from 9-13 February 2026, we were pleased to welcome our customers and business partners from H2m Hidrógeno Manufacturado S.L. (H2m) - Julio Luis García López and Raúl Martínez Palomino - to Spectronik’s Singapore headquarters.

H2m is a Spain-based company specializing in the Research & Development (R&D), training, consulting, and system integration of hydrogen technologies, including electrolyzers, fuel cells, and hydrogen refueling stations.

During their productive visit, several key milestones were achieved:

1) Test Drive of the Toyota COMS Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle

H2m test drove the Toyota COMS Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle, a joint collaboration between Spectronik and Temasek Polytechnic Clean Energy Research Centre.

The project involved converting a single-seater electric vehicle (EV) into a hydrogen-powered vehicle using Spectronik’s fuel cell system. A similar project in Europe is scheduled to be announced in Summer 2026.

2) Completion of the Spectronik Hydrogen Fuel Cell Course

H2m successfully completed the Spectronik Hydrogen Fuel Cell Course , covering both theoretical and hands-on training on:

  • Protium Series Fuel Cell
  • Cerebral-55 DC-DC Converter
  • Miniature Gas Pressure Regulator
  • Carbon Fiber Cylinders

These components form the core building blocks of Spectronik’s fuel cell conversion kit, enabling the conversion of electric platforms into hydrogen-powered systems. H2m is now well equipped to undertake fuel cell conversion projects using Spectronik solutions.

3) Discussions on Future Collaborations

Beyond fuel cell vehicles, H2m and Spectronik explored future collaborations in Mobile Robot and Urban Mobility projects, including drone applications and hydrogen refueling stations. Further announcements will be made in due course.

Spectronik extends its sincere appreciation to Raúl and Julio for their visit and looks forward to a long-term and successful collaboration with H2m.
