at The Istana to celebrate Singapore’s 59th Birthday

Highlights from the National Day Reception at The Istana on Monday 12 August 2024, where Spectronik CEO Jogjaman Jap met President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong, and Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. Jogjaman thanked them for their service to the nation, and introduced himself and our work at Spectronik – where we develop Portable Hydrogen Fuel Cell to decarbonize urban mobility of goods and people.

Jogjaman also caught up with DPM Heng Swee Keat. DPM Heng visited Spectronik in 2021. He was heartened to hear the notable progress we have made since his visit – including rolling out a Hydrogen fuel cell vehicle on Singapore public road, signing a distributorship agreement with Toyota Tsusho’s Nexty Electronics Corporation for the Japan market, and increasing our sales worldwide. Today, Spectronik fuel cells – 100% Made in Singapore, can be found in 38+ countries worldwide powering a host of applications such as aerial drones, automated guided vehicles, ground robots, 2-3 wheelers and light-duty commercial vehicles.

Hydrogen fuel cell is integral for us to achieve our Net Zero goal in line with the Singapore Green Plan.
